Ohh-Med Medical participated in Europe's most important conference on sexual medicine. Ohh-Med CEO, Daniel Lischinsky, had the opportunity to meet some of the world's leading andrologists and urologists, who were impressed and excited to see developments.

 

University of California Irvine Dept of Urology, together with Ohh-Med Medical Ltd, a biotech startup, announced the launch of the first IRB-approved clinical study to determine the efficacy of the company’s Vertica device for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction (ED).

​

The study will be led by Dr Faysal Yafi, MD, Medical Director of the Men’s Health Program at UC Irvine.  Dr. Yafi specializes on male infertility, sexual dysfunction, and low testosterone.​

Prof Cobi Reisman presented the results of the pilot study conducted, including 6-month follow up data. The packed lecture hall reflected the interest of the attending physicians, who lined up to ask questions following the lecture.

Vertica received Israel Ministry of Health approval to sell directly to consumers in June 2021, and in December 2022, Vertica received the CE-MDR approval to market throughout the EU.

European Society for Sexual Medicine - ESSM annual conference held every year in Rotterdam attracts European and International urologists and sexual function professionals to discuss the latest clinical advances in sexual medicine.

This year, Ohh-Med’s Vertica®, was presented in a session as part of the main conference. Dr. Sergiu Bistritzky, from the neuro-urology unit, Rambam Medical Center, Israel, presented the results of a pilot clinical study on the treatment of erectile dysfunction using radiofrequency (RF).

Vertica has been granted the CE Mark to market and sell in Europe. The CE Mark confirms that Vertica meets the high standards of the new, stringent European Medical Devices Regulation (MDR 2017/745) and assures the safety and efficacy of our innovative device.

Vertica is already successfully marketed around the world, including Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Romania, and Israel. 

A recent article in the "Health & Wellness" section of the Jerusalem Post explains the benefits and the innovation behind the Vertica. Vertica has received CE Mark for sales in EU and is also approved by the Israel Ministry of Health. It is now available for purchase in Israel, through the company website. ​​
